I guess it would be nice but I also feel like active noise cancelling ... kinda muddy's the sound too... at least IMO I think I hear that.
I don't use earbuds so no big deal to me just I think there might be some give and take here. -
codecrow2183y@kiki one of the earbuds just stopped charging. I think I dropped it too many times lol.

kiki353253y@N00bPancakes anc is a really simple concept that is really hard to get right. With anc on, your driver basically plays two things at once: your music and the counter-signal for the environment noise.
By definition that’s really narrowing down the dynamic range left for the music, making it muddy and compressed.
The solution is either making drivers ridiculously large, like 12mm+ large so they naturally have astonishing dynamic range and can handle two things being played at once; or making two identical drivers per earbud, one for anc exclusively; or add a shit ton of psychoacoustic.
The newest Jabra is both one and three, bragging 12mm drivers and top-notch psychoacoustic from all that experience with hearing aid.
Bose also did solid psychoacoustic research so their anc doesn’t make perceived sound muddy or overly compressed.
Fly-by-night or just oem brands usually have neither, so yes, it’s muddy.
Imagine apple doing this
