Many companies have tried and miserably failed at a degoogled android. Android is not a google only product, but it is pretty much unsellable without google stuff.

All Android phones can download live transcribe so guess it can pass being on that page. But the same is not true for Captions

iOS is no better, get a phone you can root and unlock, put some open source OS in it.

@donuts you would be surprised that google does not sell data as well but uses it internally. Selling the data is the stupidest thing an advertising company could do for their sales.

@donuts Apple is not an ad tech company so the simpler conclusion on ehat they do with your data is: they sell it to multiple organizations.
And it is a well known fact apple collaborates with the govt.. well might be a conspiracy theory but still makes sense.
So when they cut other companies to collect data on their platform the only thing they are doing is increasing the price for the data they have, add the exclusivity price, a premium, same model they use to sell everything else.
