A recruiter set me up with an interview for a company I really liked and I thought it went pretty well. But I tried following up with him and he refuses to answer my 3 emails or pick up my calls. It's fine if I didn't get the job but this is the first time a recruiter just completely ignores me without giving me any feedback. Has this even happened to anyone and how do I deal with this?

Remember the recruiter's name and never work with them again... I've had it happen a few times, but there are some good ones out there.

I haven't had it happen to me but I've interviewed candidates who have been burnt. Just move on. Note, it might be the company rather than the agency

I don't care about the job anymore at this point. I just feel like coming from one of the biggest tech recruiting companies I don't want other job hunters to go through the same experience with this guy.

@xroad You are obviously a valued developer to think like that.

A follow up in case anyone's interested: I blasted him with an email about how he was being completely unprofessional and how I don't want to work with him or his company ever again. He sent me an email the next day apologizing.

I think I did my good deed for the day 😎
