Is it really true that edge uses less ram than chrome? I mean don't they use the same engine??

RAM usage by any program or GUI is based on how many modules it takes and how much they took time to load
And also sometimes depend on the languages it is made in
For instance, a GUI made in Python takes more storage and memory than others made in C/C++

    Out of the box: yes
    With same extensions: yes 🤷‍♂️

With same tabs, same extensions, I can have edge running with around 1GB ram less than chrome.

Because Google adds trackers to the browser while Microsoft has it built into windows 🤔

    *Sarcasm*

Just thought someone needs to say this 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyways edge does play nicer on windows than chrome, not sure it her operating systems didn't try it
