I have only seen business people and posers like that.
I haven't read enough to have a real opinion, but looking at who writes about that in LinkedIn gives me an idea on who the target audience is.

The way the concepts are misrepresented by new writers is not to overlook. However, could you elaborate how design thinking is bad? It has uses, not like a swiss knife, but still...

I think the problem is how "reasonable problem solving as every human should do it" now has a name, because it's - ironically - new and/or unknown to decision makers.

@inawhile I too though it was about design, but it isn't, I think it is about problem solving.

So in test fashion it would be something design thinking is to design what JavaScript is to java
