I officially cut ties with all my family.

Shitty, cringy, egoist people to ever exist.

They treat me like shit. Just use me as their slave all the time and when anything goes wrong, blame me for everything.

I consider you all my family now. Though we are virtual friends but you guys are better than real family.

    @besnn to be honest, @youallsuck is zillion times better than shitheads (aka my family) I am surrounded with.

    Good for you. Did the same thing 20+ years ago. 10/10 would recommend.

    Welcome to the family. I ditched mine 12 years ago. Not sure I how I turned out so different from them, but I felt I was better off by myself.

    So, sorry and congratulations? I feel like both things are appropriate, like when someone announces a divorce.

    So this thread is full of people who cut ties with their family. Man it must be hard to reach to that decision! Power to you all!

    And bava, you have got a younger brother in me, albeit virtual, but still.

    @Floydimus @besnn I think @YouAllSuck is very clever. He used some reverse psychology shit on us. Irritated the fuck out of us to a point where his username became a headache. Then he started doing sensible posts with some shit posts in between. And we fucking started loving him as our own because who the fuck doesn’t like seeing a troubled person doing sensible things?

    He played with our emotions and how! A clever fucking person. Or.. you know.. just a dick who gets sense sometimes.

    @thehappyhipster @atrabilious @UnicornPoo @Cyanide

    *group hug*

    y'all make me cry. You people are my true family, no matter physically far we are from each other.

    @Cyanide agree. The suck guy is super smart and knows his way through.

    @besnn fuck you twat.

    @Floydimus Glad to be included.

    @Cyanide that's kind of you to state. Thank you. You get kind of numb to the fact after a couple of years but yeah, it's not superfun to have to do. Feels nice when someone recognises it actually. 💪

    Dude, best of luck to you, you our homie! Come, *Virtual Hug*

    @SoldierOfCode *bear hug* you are one of my best pal :)

    I agree with what others said, cutting toxic fucks out of your life frees you up a lot mentally.

    It's tough initially but then you make new friends and allow new people to walk in to your life.

    hey if it makes you feel better my family has imposters in it that were placed while i was in a state of temporary amnesia who replaced ones that are in hiding or dead.

    and the originals were part of a criminal syndicate that sold its own children and took part in an international sex trafficking. in fact is pretty much international sex trafficking.

    and the chinese embassy didn't do its job early enough and shoot my dad.

    so hey.

    my dad let me get raped in the head as a child amongst many other departures from many of his fatherly functions under the guise of being a decnet man and then screamed at me that it was my fault meanwhile the family i keep seeing lately are the psycho clones.

    @YouAllSuck I am sorry bro that you had to go through all this.

    Glad that you are in a better place now. The world is cruel place but there are surely good people like yourself and others here that exist and make it tolerable to exist here.

    Thanks for being a good human :)

    Good for you man, Sucks when the people who are suppose to love you take you for granted. I can relate, both parents died when I was young, left me with a bunch of fake, superficial c***s

    I've learnt from personal experience as long you love yourself that's all the love you'll ever need, anymore than that is optional :)

    Hug Party!

    @Floydimus last part of the rant was so sweet ♥

    Joining the cut-all-ties-with-my-family-club. Toxic people are just that. Blood is thicker than water? That's worth nothing to me.

    The good thing is, you can choose the people you want to have in your live. I do not regret the decision I've made years ago.
  • 2
    You're better off without them in that case.
    Best of luck mate!

    @D4WKINS
    >As long as you love yourself, that's all the love you'll ever need.

    That's one of the best statement I have ever heard. Screenshot.

    @ochuwa some of my cousins are exceptional but few rotten Apples ruin others so the good ones also get along the wrong company and everything messes up. Thanks. Hopefully things resolve.

    @Benutzername hurrah!

    @JhonDoe bro ❤️

    @Maer I agree. Surrounding self with good people brings out the best in us.

    @Ranchonyx thanks bro :)

    @Floydimus can you provide more context why your family is treating you like shit?
  • 3
    @Devnergy I think I posted in another rant but here way go..

    Most them have inherited a good fortune from their parents. They have very little responsibility or avoid responsibility of any kind.

    Hence, they end up living a extravagant lifestyle spending lavishly on unwated stuff.

    My parents and I am not fortunate for such inherited luxury. Which requires me to work double to reach their base level without constant fear of being fired from job. Because if I get kicked out, my family might starve.

    So, we live a frugal life and within our means. Relatives judge us for being miser and cheapstakes. Whereas in reality we are debt free and are living on our own terms and they have huge debt on them (even though the fortune is inherited they refuse to pay off the debt).

    This causes some friction between us and they disregard us for not matching their upper class lifestyle (which I am not a fan of anyway).

    @rutee07 recovering.

    Because of me, my parents got impacted and that sucks.

    Hopefully this too shall pass.
