    still possible, but rarely used in the past 10 years, maybe because Apple did not support it 🐧🍏 and probably windows still doesn't either

    In Linux I think it's usually tied to an alternate clipboard.

    For windows, if your mouse doesn't support it, grab AutoHotKey and make it do it.

    @Floydimus Linux distros in general have it, and Copy and Paste work independently too
