Why we can't just start using the system to detect a default light / dark mode is beyond me, oh wait we can.

What would be really nice though, is having the system hand up the UI color pallet and being able to use that.

The consistency of dark themes would suddenly be solved.

UI was made to mimic text on paper, but guess what: paper doesn't emit light.
