Have you ever been pretty sure someone's a prick just from reading his code?

    Not sure.

Lazy, yes. Oh, yes!! I'll never forget the "if(false)" statement I found.

Just comment it already. Or just delete it. We use git you know. Dude. Come on.

@lostinmyworld I don't know.. I think that for example developers who store passwords in plain text have moved beyond mere laziness. Sometimes code tells you something about a developer's morality.

Have you ever made that conclusion and realised that dick is you,

I always do this like 6 months down the line.

@philcr Often, my friend. But not all the time.

Now that you mention it, pretty sure we came across that today. Poor code structure, confusing logic, no comments...

I've never spent so much time discussing code with another engineer and both of us were silent, trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

    I love the tags.

Yeah I'm a recovering 'that guy'. Sometimes it comes out that way coz I'm too tired to figure out how to make it not like that.

Other times I'm too alert to remember that correct and concise use of a wide standard library vocabulary won't be so much fun when I go back on a tired day and can't remember what 'slice' does and what prick wrote this.
