Everytime I join Microsoft team meeting, my webcam and mic is turned on by default. Don't they save the preference for next time.

    This could be a setting by the host.

    In Zoom, I have this setting where everyone is muted by default upon joining.

    My mic always turns on in zoom when I join. It is auto setting the volume so the first sound is loud like a train crash for the other participants. So annoying.

    Zoom - > settings - > Audio - > "Mute my microphone when joining a meeting"

    Zoom - > seeings - > Video - > "Turn off my video when joining meeting"

    Sure there are similar in Teams, although I haven't used it for a while

    @iiii That's okay they show it before I join. What I'm saying is why they don't save my preference. Like someone said it must be the host setting.

    For me, webcam is always off by default and mic is on if there are only a couple people in the meeting, off otherwise.
