I'm new to programming and my professor said I should work on a project this summer..... Any suggestions?!

    why java again when you already know python?

    It's always fun to make scripts that solve your own common tasks. I once made a script which would cleanup my downloads folder according to some rules

    @triggerHappy because there is no Python 2 at my current college and the next course I will be taking is going to be Java so I want to learn some basic things before the semester starts. And why not learn more than one language! Lol

    @suethenewb cool! people generally don't tend to learn tougher language when they already know an easier one. atb!
