Any fun April Fools ideas??

Oh God. I feel like this group of misfits could be the most dangerous group of April foolers ever.

Make a fake local host IP with a DNS that reads the Hacker News. Create a web page with your company logo and a fake article about a massive crack to the Datacenter. Circulate it in an email to devops. Best I got right now. Not sure it would actually work.

If your less tech savvy friends have a PC with a mechanical disk drive it's pretty easy to write a script that'll just make it open and close again. Add it to startup and you're done.

@davidbond I tried that once using VB but it got caught by the AV scanner.

A rubber hand and red food colouring (80ml) put both in the toilet cistern and wait for someone to flush.

It's technical, but it does have a very favorable effort/payoff ratio.

Make a Visual Studio extension that makes a particular character, '}' say, transparent 😂
