How the hell does wikihow manage to eat all my ram to the point where nothing but a hard reset will get my pc working again?!

That's quite impressive. Looks like wikihow have stumbled across some kind of weird zero day exploit in whatever browser you're using if you really need a hard reset of the entire PC to clear things up.

@AlmondSauce I was using brave, and the physical memory eaten by the wikihow ballooned until it hit 9X% numbers after a few seconds.

I didn't notice immediately the first time but it got so bad Windows threw an error while trying to open the task manager.

The second time (just wanted to make sure it was that tab), the browser actually caught onto the tab and the 'unresponsive page: kill/wait?' message popped up.

Killing that tab restored things to normal.

@C0D4 was that a wikileak joke or do we still think only wiki knows how
