    Aws self hosted is free for a year. If you want "anonymous", don't cheap out.

    What do you want to do with it?

    @sariel host a project .... Like an open API

    @atheist for my case I am building an open source project like a publis API.

    @johnmelodyme Aws has pretty stingy free data limits. Oracl cloud is better (10tb IIRC).

    Oracle has up to 6 free-for-ever VMs, but don't expect incredible performance.

    @sbiewald it's really only 4 free forever (I'm not complaining, that's still pretty good). Each vm needs a boot volume, each volume has to be at least 50gb, you get a free allowance of 200gb.

    GitHub pages? I don't know if they support OpenAPI. If not, there should be a way to convert to something it supports

    @johnmelodyme depending on if you need it to be HA or not, but there used to be some MSP/CSPs that would host things like that for free as long as they could benefit from it.

    Otherwise I think your only options are a free tier ec2 or just a simple local host until you need to migrate it to a cloud.

    Cloudflare KV workers are also worth looking into. For free, you get 100,000 requests per day (but it's not a "server". Worth reading into tho)

    @atheist just putting it out there, fuck cloudflare and their edgy and shitty DNS.

    I don't have a huge amount of confidence in a company to host my projects when they can't even get DNS right.

    Fair, I've not used CF much, just a front for a couple of random websites.

    @sbiewald ORacle? wow that's surprising.

    Contabo, but for me it's cheaper to pay with £

    Depends. For a project that uses few services, i would go heroku. For a full on vps, i use vultr, or arubacloud.
