Years of bad sleep in a shitty college dorm probably gave me the brain damage that made me who I am today. Would recommend.

Waste of time and money. Just get the curriculum from somewhere and study from the Internet (freely available Stanford, MIT, etc material). Because the profs in my college do that shit anyways - use foreign materials as "source".
Won't be able to show people a piece of paper that "certifies" what you learned. But if you eventually get a chance to be heard you'll be able to show your caliber, if you have any -
anux7383yMy experience was pretty bad mmkay?
But I'm looking to get into one now for graduate studies.
Try to find out what you want to do in life and then check if a degree is required for it. You might need it for niche jobs.
College gives you some credibility. If you invest in your portfolio and keep in touch with your community, that is another way of getting credibility and might work for you. -
ars140633yUseful but it largely depends on you. I met my mentor there, and his guidance really pushed me forward.
If you except to magically get something just by sitting your ass there, it'll be useless. It's a resource and it's up to you to successfully exploit it. There are also places that charge you a shitton of money for it, so if you're unfortunate enough to live in one of those it may not be the best of ideas. -

Professionally, it was a waste of time.
