I think DM would kill the purpose. This app is made for ranting and ranting only. Unless you have a rant (and you do it like you mean it) use twitter.

@Dacexi that's true, but imo adding direct messaging would take away the joy of commenting/interacting without making plans on private messages if you know what I mean. Being absolute strangers to each other but yet feel like we are one family feels kind of cool.

I also believe this is a community. One where a very specific kind of people can be found.
There's been times I've wanted to talk directly to other members, but not enough to ask for contact information.
And also in favor the feature can be disabled whenever you want.

I forgot that PM didn't always mean project managers.

@linuxxx well this goes back to my original reply. Even if implemented how private is it? Best to just take it off here and use a service where the company has spent millions making sure (hopefully) everything is encrypted. 😁
