Are "tree shaking" and "registry" slang for something? I'm not as down with the kids as I used to be.

@atheist Tree shaking is Javascript and it stands for dead code elimination, registry means the NPM package registry.

NPM was down for an hour and a half today, and during that period it became too late to push to prod.

Also tree shaking isn't "javascript", it's software engineering.

The first tree shaking was in Lisp.
