What's a life?

Hello, bois. Some words from an old fart (that's me). To be young and learn all the cool things was awesome. But in return, I didn't connect with anyone except for those who shared my passion. But they bailed early and went into a different direction: family. I continued, only then after 2 decades that I realized what I should have done with my life. Now I'm trying to catch up with what I missed: travel and connect with people (but not too much. I still can't stand some people).

When I went to Japan, I ate at a local ramen store (not the big names where vacationers go) and had trouble explaining to the waitress what I wanted. Luckily, the person next to me who knew some English helped me. I talked to him while waiting for our orders and asked him about the area (there were no foreigners but me). I asked him politely what he does. Our conversation got so engaging that he even showed me pictures of the farm where he works. It can give you a different perspective about your life.

@fruitfcker not everyone likes family, travel, or connecting people. For some people it may be a better life to focus on work. The important part is that you find out what you like and then live accordingly.

They let us developers estimate but then when we say it is really 5 days to complete with submitted work breakdown structure then they will still question that.

So those development hours will have some sudden meetings that will consume your development time. Damn I hate that.
