F@#$% ANDROID STUDIO! You should definitely add a feature of giving a Pop-up window asking if the user REALLY WANTS TO OPEN THE SOFTWARE OR NOT!
You should see my face when I click on android studio icon by accident 😩 on my Windows...

    I usually add administrator compatibility flag for heavy applications, than the uac prompt will do exactly what you wanted. (If you have it enabled). ;)

    @KnightsOfCode take it off your taskbar, and then any time you need it, you have to purposefully open it from the start menu

    On Linux, it opens up rather quickly for me. On Windows on same laptop it too ages to open.
