The person who invented powerpoint and those who use it/love it should be skinned alive.

FUCKING SHIT OF A PRODUCT.

On the other side, instead of torturing someone to death, force them to use Power point for 2 hours a day and that will be enough for the person to beg you to kill them.

Join me in this journey against power point.

    What did it do?

@RememberMe everything except what I wanted it to do.

MFs are preparing a deck for LT presentation and all have to "collaboratively" work on it in real time.

The formatting is shit, which I agree is human issue, but that formatting is causing thousands of annoying gird lines and even moving anything a pixel here or there, fucks up everything.

Even before that, it is incredibly difficult to control so many text boxes, objects, and elements on a single fucking slide.

    Power point is raw pain.

Have you ever tried writing a presentation using LaTeX? It's... A different hell...

@atheist I have heard a lot of Latex but never used so no clue bro.

@curiousjoe welcome to 365. NGL, it's awesome but PowerPoint is fucked.

Try using Latex dude, and you will realize that Ms Word and Ms PP are godsend. 😜

@cho-uc I'd pass for the good lord in the heavens.

I wrote my cv in latex (I was bored that one time and felt like doing something painful). In practical terms, it's benefitted, I can use version control, see diffs, switch different sections in and out fairly easily, have a branch for any job specific modifications, but...

It's not worth the effort. Google docs or whatever is that much easier.

@atheist I have heard many CV makers use Latex. Never understood it.

Next, I am going to make a resume makeover, I'll head to Photoshop and make an kick-ass impression making resume.

@TheAwesome98 power point as a product, irrespective of the suite it belongs to, sucks.

I agree Power point is a very inconvenient program. I had to make a lot of presentations myself and it was just a pain. It all came to an end and I decided to look for alternative programs for creating presentations. I chose Google presentations. I chose them because I found https://loveslides.com/ where you can download tons of design slide templates that you can use here to create presentations. Now I can make my presentations quickly and not want to kill people. I think you will find this site useful.
