They had a copy of the repository inside a development folder, on the repository.

I left on week 2.

    Think that's bad? My old place had a git repo on a shared network drive... And we had to use the network drive... With a git server... *Shudder*

    Development folder?! We had prod. Commit to prod. That's it.

    Best part - they thought that backing up the production env (restore ≈ 2hrs.) was an effective"optimization".. that was a long year.

    @divil I did speak to the boss about it. There were a lot of other problems with their project and I gave some suggestions on how to fix some of them, but that place wasn't for me.
