Am I the only one that will have my headphones on (without music) just so people will not bother me?

I do the same thing. Someone even asked me once how I could hear anything if it wasn't plugged in. 😂 Seriously though, I have a sweet set of AKG M220 studio phones, and I just crank up the music and block the world out.

I bring my headset that I use at home to work, to block out the guy sitting opposite me (he eats with his mouth open and makes the weirdest noises, and is constantly on speaker phone because he'll be taking calls at lunch) and the radio that plays the same 10 songs a week.

Needless to say when I forget my headset my coding and problem solving skills are slowed down :/

I always wear my headphones when I'm working. I'm one of those people that get distracted easily, and I'm very sensitive to noise.

I do the know what is worse, getting bugged frequently with headphones off or having people walk up behind you and touch your shoulders because you have headphones on.

I was recently forced to go to a disco. I brought my headphones and put them in because of the terrible music. Sadly it just attracted more people instead of them leaving me alone.

Yeh I do the same always 😂 I hate when people disturb me while coding because of silly reasons. I love to hear some ambient music and some Spotify chill music when I am coding. I love quiet when I am understanding the topic so I just put my headphones back 😂 and if I am even listening when someone is calling me I just shake my head like I am enjoying the music. That never fails 😂😂 and you can have quite coding time !😉😊

I often find myself just having the headphones on with ANC activated, makes all the annoying sounds go away, an I can still pay attention to the convos in the office

To often I forget to start the music, so yea, I guess I do too.
