So the US Congress decided that the online privacy of it's citizens do not matter. What steps do you guys take to maintain your privacy ? I can't even convince my friends to stop using fb messenger and move onto Signal.

    @KnightsOfCode looks like VPN it is... it was good I signed up for lifetime WindScribe VPN a year ago... just need to start using it now...

    Now what do we do about our govt.... seems like its now a POS....

    Linux-Libre, only use free software were applicable, don't use email if possible and try to get communication through tor. Also stay away from newer amd or Intel, especially Intel, processors as they most likely contain hardware backdoors. If you are really serious about it, don't use a mobile and do not communicate anyhow over unencrypted proprietary system. I think you can mix these options to your liking.

    Anybody tried wire? Heard good things about it vs signal a bit back. Haven't tried it myself though
