Started using a password manager. Never thought life would be so easier.

Btw, I'm using Lastpass (on free trail now). Any better recommendations, friends?

    Using LastPass as well. Recently also tried KeePass, which seems to be not bad at all. Browser integration is not as smooth as LastPass though.

    @w0ble Agreed! I haven't used Keepass but I really liked the browser integration & mac app of Lastpass. Will try a couple of days & most probably, buy the license. Thanks mate!

    @Dairattez Man, I've been reading it wrong all my life. It's KeepAss. KeepAss! 😂

    Makes sense but what if you want to sync it across multiple devices?

    Congratulations on finding a password manager, although lastpass has just been notified of a severe security vulnerability allowing remote code execution and password vault access by Google's project Zero team!
    😂😂

    @vish
    There's a plugin for KeePass that can sync to various services.

    1Password is great software

    @vish there is also a KeePass compatible pwd-manager called KeeWeb where you can host your own online pwd-manager. But I didn't try it out yet.

    @Floriusin @moars42 @Dairattez Thanks guys! I'll give Keepass a try this weekend. But like @w0ble said I totally loved the lastpass integrations. ☺

    KeePass user here. I have my password database in Dropbox and it's protected by a composite key made of a password and a file that I never send through the internet. I feel that's a fair amount of security without sacrificing convenience.
    And I couldn't live without that setup, no clue how I lived before I started using it. With Auto-type and CTRL-U to open URL (which can be a command as well) I don't really need a lot more integration. It's only the occasional place where I'm missing some integration, but even then it's just copy username and password as if from a text document or something.

    @Bikonja That sounds cool. I am so stuck (with love) with lastpass that I didn't even get a chance to try out keepass & 1password.

    @vish I do that, too... Get stuck with something because I like it and don't want to change even if there's something better...
    But yeah, KeePass is great
