Honestly if governments or groups have beef with other governments or groups, go assassinate their leader instead of this shit.
Like ur not making a point by blowing up a bunch of innocent people minding their own business. -
sariel85313y@darrenrahnemoon I don't care where you lived before 9/11, the events that took place on US soil impacted the entire world. You had countries that were directly impacted by it like Iran and Afghanistan. Then you had all the countries that locked down because they didn't want to become the next twin towers event.
Before 9/11 terrorists goal was to halt social progress with the suffocating fear of random attacks.
Now that it's been 20 years the goal is less direct.
Terrorism is now a tool used to manufacture political change. Take a look at the changes across any country over the last decade. It's always been in the background, but with covid everything came bubbling to the top.
We haven't started to live in fascist aristocracies, we have been living in it for over 90 years. Every time we lose freedom, it's always to protect us from "the enemy".
Point is, it's not people vs people. It's government vs people, always has been and always will be. -
sariel85313y@darrenrahnemoon you have my deepest sympathy for the absolute fuckwits my countrymen can be.
I'm sure they aren't all bad, but a few thousand bad apples spoils the bunch.
I took this picture after a terrorist attack happened in my city. RIP https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
