It was when I bought my current laptop. Started windows 8 (pre-installed), opened IE to get and install Firefox and after stuff was done, rebooted. Only to get BSOD's and hang in the recovery thing for about 3 hours until I said fuck it and installed elementary os. That felt so fucking smooth...

Everytime I have to remember to use a relocate.xml file in audit mode (windows, set up user directory using separate partition)

I used to install Windows XP on a lot of business machines back then and I would always laugh when someone was watching the estimated remaining time and be like "Whaaat, 40 Minutes??"

Well, going back to windows 10 after one month suffering with most of linux distros, in setup, I realize that my 500gb drive that contains all of my datas gone away, that was a horrible nighmare. But after installing windows, i realize that only my drive does not have letter and datas are safe. That was my best moment in my life

Installing windows when installer would copy files and reboot only to not find any OS installed on the Disk to expand. Turns out windows installer found an nonexistent Disk on a nonexistent port.

When a Linux installation would not even detect the network controller on PCI bus. Reinstall worked.
