Brought my blue switch mechanical keyboard to work.

My colleague came in wondering what that tapping sound was. Heard it through the wall 🤔😂

Bought my first one a few weeks ago. Brought it to study and started a one minute typing speed test. When I was done I noticed that everyone was looking at me xD. Feel you bro :P

@Zaphod65 I have my own room with pretty thick walls between. But my colleague had no problem with it. He was just curious and has headphones on 95% of the time 🙂

@Zaphod65 Could you explain that 😊

Would of course not even though about bringing it if I didn't have my own room 😄

@linuxxx I assume he means it can get annoying for the people around you in a shared office/open office 😄

@sonywalk oh ye I got that part but specifically the blue switches...?

@linuxxx Blue switches are pretty much the loudest switches you can get so...😅

@sonywalk Did not know that, I've got the Razer Ornata and it's pretty loud but idk my first (semi mechanical) so can't tell :P

I like my silent 2mm-travel-distance laptop keyboard. I have no idea how people use those keyboards where you have to press them down a full centimeter

@agentwolf44 That's what I like with mechanical keyboards, at least my blue ones. I don't need do bottom the keys, the switch triggers after 2-3 millimeters and I get strong tactile feedback of it 😅

@agentwolf44 I'm the total opposite. Tall keys all the way, baby!
