Anyone else here having health issues getting in the way of our hobby? I understand that our field is risky. Any actual advice you can give that you yourselves did to be healthy again? Thank you so much.

Developed shingles as a (probable) result of working too hard and not getting enough sleep. Left me with scars in my neck that probably will last for years and still occasionally hurt...
Best advice I can give: work hard, play hard, rest for both.
You're worth more if you're well-rested (both mentally and physically) anyway

Stretch! You are a keyboard athlete. Your wrists especially, but also your fingers, your back, even your arms and legs.

RSI and carpal tunnel suck a big bag of dicks. So stretch, dammit.

    Eat healthy~!
I'm not saying just those green leafy, it doesn't taste anything veggies.
But eat a balanced diet. :) With enough meat, bread/rice and throw in some fresh fruits.

I get up and take a walk around the building every now and then again. I cant suggest a diet because I don't follow one, and can't suggest a workout routine for the same reason.

Do some stretch for 10 minutes every day and sleep before 10 pm, of course with proper 3 meals a day

Buy a good bicycle, ride it around for an hour or so, then lock it in the garage to gently rust until next year. Meanwhile brag about your (fake) exercise routine to colleagues. You have now successfully passed stage 1 of the getting fit debacle.

Yes. Exercise and fitness is key...
I haven't done anything for months dude to a big project and all the sitting has buckled me big time.
Hitting the gym again from today to start doing some rehab...

Buy a dog so you have to walk it 😁,

All other unrealistic things are listed above : eat healthy ( so you don't get fat and feel healthy mentally ), take walks , stretch, gym and if you have any respect for your body you invest in a proper chair and keyboard. Also try not to have a bad posture while sitting in your chair, because that's where most complains originate from

Was unable to focus on the code. Having intermittent headaches. Turns out it was vitamin deficiency.

    😠😐
