If you want to experience the definition of hell, do iOS Development and use their only allowed IDE called "Xcode". It was made by Satan himself. You're welcome.9

"Oh, don't use Google Password Manager. It's not safe. Use something else. [Paid]"
* proceeds in using it anyway. I don't care. I trust Google.10 -
This SwiftUI is the best thing since sliced bread. It makes my development time faster and the clients happier. There are some weird things that can get frustrating, but I like where this entire paradigm shift is going.
Why was I so hesitant to adapt to newer techs? I became stagnant for the last 3-5 years. I will rise again.4 -
fucking hate implementing a chat feature in the apps! a couple of moving parts and edge case handling!2

Two states of a developer every day:
• Fuck this job. I hate everyone and everything. My code sucks. It's not working. Why did I choose this career?! I am so miserable.
• It works! I'm a programmer god. Oh my goodness I'm smarter than everybody.4 -
Udemy courses are targeted at ABSOLUTE beginners. It's excruciating to pull through and finish the course "just because". And some of these courses are jam-packed with 30-60 hours just for them to appear legit, but the reality is the value you get could be packed to 3-5 hours.
You're better off just searching for or watching for the things that you need on Google or YouTube.
You'll learn more when building the actual stuff. Yes, it's good to go for the documentation. Just scratch the "Getting Started" section and then start building what you want to build already. Don't read the entire documentation from cover to cover for the sake of reading it. You won't retain everything anyway. Use it as a reference. You'll gain wisdom through tons of real-world experience. You will pick things up along the way.
Don't watch those tutorials with non-native English speakers or those with a bad accent as well. Native speakers explain things really well and deliver the message with clarity because they do what they do best: It's their language.
Trust me, I got caught up in this inefficient style a handful of times. Don't waste your time.rant mooc bootcamp coursera freecodecamp skillshare tutorial hell learning udacity udemy linkedin learning8 -
There are devs who are chill. Then there's me. Deadlines give me anxiety. Being responsible for the code I didn't write and being blamed for the bugs I inherited stress me out.3

Telegram uses the latter – on the send message text field for the mobile app, and on the list item on the sidebar for the desktop app.
It feels faster and snappier. I think it's a good UX if used correctly.

I have hundreds of Udemy courses I'm enrolled to. I hoarded them when they offered free coupons a few years ago. I realized most of them are trash, sharing wrong information with their thick accents. There is no option to unenroll, just archive. It feels dirty knowing they are still there, like ghosts hiding behind the curtains. Hoarding is a disease. I need to get rid of the noise. There is so much noise in today's world. Send help.1

Is a calendar view that starts on a Monday column a bad or unusual UX? I'm used to seeing Sunday on the leftmost and Saturday on the rightmost. I'm not sure about other cultures. It's one of my tasks at work. Thank you.12

If you're using .NET for your backend, go fuck yourself. Can't stand these bullshit Microsoft tools/products and these bullshit enterprise developers! They also make our front-end/mobile development lives hell. Why can't you be straightforward you piece of shit? Why does Microsoft deviate from the dev norm in a worse way?!14
