@andikaEka No need to doubt yourself. You know what you know, there's billions of people who probably don't know what you know. Pride yourself upon that; The new person that you think is better than you may just be better than you in a certain aspect, not the entire thing.

@Ranchonyx or maybe they are better at the entire thing. But it doesn't matter since life isn't a competition.
-
Be glad for them, they probably had something you didn't, and that means they lack something that you were given.

“If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.” - excerpt from one of my favorite poems, Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

@andikaEka I've been there but seriously, look at it as a learning experience. I bet you you'll find out you'll be able to teach them something as well. I've learned lessons about technology from people who can't even powercycle a computer. It's important to be confident in what you know but even more in what you don't. 😀

iiii90853yMy seniors at my work place are younger than me and better than me. I've accepted that fact over time.

Wrong, you met a rival : Learn from them what you can, and if they continue to outshine you, here is what you do : Get away from them.
No, seriously : If you have to quit your job or change venues to do so, then do it.
This isn't running away : This is pivoting.
If you continue to be in the presence of somebody who is better than you, the part of your brain that compares you to the other organism will constantly put you down and force you to try and compete where you are no competition.
Escape that situation.
Grow stronger, and remember the lessons gleaned from your "defeat", and next time you meet them? Things will be different.
Our brains are plastic, there is always room for growth. -
Unless you invented it then I doubt you know everything there is to know about it, so yes, there is always someone who knows more

@andikaEka Okay, so basically the two of you meet in a suspicious place in the middle of the night. Pull out swords. Not samurai swords you bought at a flea market, not kitchen knives, no full on swords.
Now, here is the complicated part. . .You gotta cut the other dude's head off and stop them from cutting yours off.
Now, I know what you maybe thinking! But GUAPPI!!! Murder is illegal!
Well look friend, either you goose him or he is goosing you, because the goosiest of the gooses goes through a quickening.
What is a quickening? After you cut the other guys head off you get his knowledge.
Keeping up? Good, now get to it. -
As Tom Jones said: "It's not unusual - it happens every day."
Imagine how said it would be if age was the only factor.
I met someone who is younger but better than me in something that I consider my expertise.
