Sounds like one of two things happening here.

1) you and your team are your managers platform of success. Why would they break up a successful team through promotions?

2) take a good look at how many women have been promoted since you've been there. Is there a pattern of sexism?

Oh yeah. Once I got a job where my manager told me I don’t get a raise without working more. I moved and got already 2 raise (plural?) with the same workload
