Our company Nerf wars got a little rowdy one year, and a co-worker knocked over a (senior citizen) co-worker just to “win”. Like full on take down body slam. So much for no physical contact.

I always hated nerf shit at work.

One place I worked, I was the only developer and was supporting 25k users daily.

When shit would break, everyone in the company would start to play darts and shoot the fuck out of me while I was trying to resolve the issues.

Sometimes it got so bad I would lock myself into a conference room just to get away from everyone so I could fix the shit tier apps I had to support.

I get that you need the ability to blow off steam at work, but not at the expense of adding unnecessary stress to others.

If you want that shit in your office, create times in the day that allow for it, not on the whim of some asshole with too much free time.
