Come on, it's not that bad. It makes you think in a way that you don't normally do, which is IMO a good way to keep yourself from getting lazy.

Assembly is good to program. Have you ever tried php? It's a hell on its own. Not because of the language, but because of its libraries; each of which is a fresh fuckup.

Because generally as a language, it is by far the toughest thing I have ever seen but nevertheless I now understand the pain that programmers had to go through in the early days.

@NoMad I did try PHP and it's laravel framework for web development and my experience wasn't that bad.

@beecorps check the logs. Laravel fails a lot, it's just good at hiding it. (Unless you're just serving static pages)
Laravel is so good at just sweeping stuff under the rug. It doesn't deal with errors, it just passes them to other services.
