When your customer calls you out and asks why "such and such" data wasn't copied over to the other two instances.

Then, thinking of course that it must be my fault: *research begins*

Reply to customer:
Your boss sent me an email that listed data points to *not* copy over, the item in question being one of them.

BAM!! ....developers: 1 customer: 0

I know that feeling. We have an app where you can filter out data in the view (controlled by the user ofc). One of our PMs apparently set said filters. Then he storms in to the IT office and is angry as hell. WHY CAN'T I FIND X OR Y IN THE APP. There must be a bug. FIX IT. I have a meeting in 15 mins and the fucking app is broken. "You probably have set filters and that's why there is data missing." He went back to his office saying nothing 😂

But seriously, I hate it when the first thing that comes in to the mind of the people is that it has to be a bug. Instead of thinking about the problem for 2mins better waste an hour of "IT time". /rant 😅
