Potentially a valid question though... The times I've learned the most have been when I've been challenged to go outside of my technical comfort zone to use the right tool for the job, instead of relying on what I'm most comfortable with...

many reasons. I could have used Java, but I wanted to write the code faster.

Why don't they use Python? Or C#? Or JavaScript? Or C++? Or Ruby?
