atheist99018yVery cool! Reminds me of jupiter (python notebook). I'll check it out when I'm home.

Brachacz488yAww yisss!
I use FromScratch now but i had to write a wrapper on Bash so it would be usable with multiple projects.
Definitely gonna try this! -
this2998yLove that this is built on Electron. Lacks a couple of things I'd like (cloud synch, ability to store screen caps/images in notes), but really looking forward to installing it tonight and putting it to the test. This article has a lot more info:

magnusi5838ythoughts?
"If dogs could talk, would they speak with a scottish accent?"
Jokes aside, pretty cool, but I will ignore it anyway since I am a lazy piece of shit -
@this I just cloud sync by storing the files on my stack (dropbox like service with 1TB free)

dreik14168yI've used this. Most of the times when i open it it freezes. So I have to kill it and start again. Maybe it's just me, but has anybody else experienced this?
Would love it if this was a native app instead of an electron app. -
this2998yThanks @liammartens. I was hoping for a Boostnote cloud sync because my employer blocks Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. and would want something that was ideally embedded in an app so as to avoid desktop folders with cloud upload hooks. I think I will try some variations on a personal cloud and see if I can make this work.

this2998yBig profitable company terrified of wholesale file theft @liammartens. So they block all obvious paths to getting files out of the company (including USB ports), but leave untouched the ones that people with a bit more knowledge can use to move gigabytes undetected. Not quite security theatre, but close.

matanl26478yI like the latex support! can't really see the examples on the front page, you should add a resize option

Brachacz488yI tried it out, pretty cool but i need to get used to markdown.
Its missing some features related to test editing though, like moving a line up/down, making a checkable todo list etc
