There was a store in SLC that was going out of business for like 10 years straight. They were called D-Mart. Their slogan was: "Stack 'em deep, and sell 'em cheap." They were "going out of business" and made so much money on these sales that they stayed in business for the a long time. Then I think the FTC did something and they were gone after that. At least they stopped the adverts for the going out of business sales.
