There are two types of people who attempted to learn programming:

Those who are disappointed because they tried but failed to become a programmer

Those who became programmer for real but disappointed anyway

@Voxera sounds like our equivalent of: "A farmer that is not complaining is not farmer" :D

@Jedidja a bit, but i just love my job, sure you can always find things to complain about, why would we be on this site if not for complaining :P

But the step from complaining over some things and being disappointed is quite big in my world ;)

Here is another dev who loves his job and is not disappointed at all.

To be fair though, I never "attempted" to learn programming. I just did it. Loved it. Failed. Did it again and again.

Where is the "I started as an electrical/mechanical/chemical engineer but somehow I am now a programmer and I am not sure how to get out" category?

@PepeTheFrog I was kinda the reverse once. Stated doing programming, then got stuck in ops/sysadmin/networkadmin. Took me 13 years to get out again...
