these are the types of vampiric scum that would make the best effigies to have their heads touted around on a damn stick!

that kind of attitude, hell the continuation of a system that can leave people in the cold who don't deserve to be, is what is truly fucking wrong with the USA.

god he's creepy.
he like has no fucking soul behind his smile.
like all of these critters.

rewarding only the trash.

As an outside it seems the US chose this path by themselves.

It's a large country, many different opinions...

But capitalism seems always at it's core and anything that isn't is capitalism is wrong.

... Except when the capitalism is bad. Then capitalism good but companies bad.

    It's ... bonkers.

Knowing that you're bonkers, I don't expect an honest / senseful answer, but I always found this odd.

@IntrusionCM Oh I'm far from bonkers. The game here is worse than you're realizing.

I've been a proponent of a padded economic model since i first had the idea of socialized medicine pitched me.

There is no reason people should have the power of life and death over decent people just for what it turns out to be usually:

getting rid of the good people to benefit the evil people, or getting rid of dissenters that prevent said evil people from doing evil things.

the outward mess people see is AFFECTED, the reality is its disguising something much much worse.

I do love that you think I'm bonkers though.

Just because I've see many many horrible things you likely never will and am surrounded by horrible people.

Capitalism has one attribute that is good: when people are already stable they can be encouraged to excellence, that is if and only if the system works, and it rarely seems to in the long run.

@IntrusionCM The usa is on a circular path and that path is reducing, killing us all. In a word entropy. Some people tried some very sick shit, they tried to force the decent people into horrible lives, the ended up in the long run killing themselves mostly, though they ruined a lot of lives in the process and they are still doing horrible trashy things, just with less enabling factors and less energy and more fear. I see it everywhere. But speaking of bonkers, how many times has this been posted ?

@AvatarOfKaine a competition on who's seen the worst is useless as it's subjective.

But communism and capitalism are both perverted things - because they're the most extreme form of creating systems that have to fail over a long time and are unfair right from the start.

The excellence you mention is an interesting point in this case... Cause the excellence is created by what Chinese would call the Gu ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/... ) or in Japanese Folklore Kodoku.

You don't become excellent if you don't succeed over everyone else - which means nothing else to crush your opponents, no matter how no matter why.

So excellence means in a nutshell you've killed every competition - as otherwise you would loose every invest you made.

It's a poison jar. Nothing else.

When you've reached excellence, you usually lost something very important along the way - moral and ethics. After all, both things are nothing worth in the competition and the first thing to loose.

@IntrusionCM See, I'm pointing out the real factors in our society which are destroying us. This is not cynicism. I don't believe everything must be terrible or bad.

By excelling I mean being intrinsically motivated, or perhaps even extrinsincally, to do well at whatever vocation in a scenario where competition is not so blindly destructive or fiercely motivated.

Right now, guy A gets the promotion, say he does it using the method being employed now, because he doesn't actually have any skills, and sells his daughter to some pedophile ceo.

Guy B gets fired. Guy B is honest. Guy B is now likely in the street, he will lose everything he has, and Guy A and the piece of garbage that sponsored him, will laugh about it and forget him.

That's where our system was and in some ways still is.

@IntrusionCM Society needs insulated against the worst scum. People need their ability to survive with dignity safeguarded. That's not what we have, we have an exploitable system that was made worse to keep people down for the amusement of sick people who bred like rats.

That is the truth. Nothing else. That the rot spread rapidly, spurred on by the sudden introduction of a hypersexualized culture that got to glut itself, and people with no morals enabling this, and destroying a few generations while the decent people were kept from children they didn't know about, thus breaking the link between the good of an era, and replacing the foundation with one of horror and sadism. That this cancer spread quietly because noone would believe it. And that now most of those who profited aren't doing so well, and my fathers generation departed from the world leaving a mess behind.

    @AvatarOfKaine Yes.

    That's exactly what I'm describing.

    A wanted to succeed.

He had to kill the competition, so B needed to be eliminated.

Morally and ethically wrong, but that's how capitalism works.

Either succeed or be unsuccessful and thus nothing worth.

... that this results in a system where the people with the lowest moral and ethics have the highest positions is exactly what capitalism is about and how it works.

... and as you said - it results in a system where people who do not value human life at all have the highest power.

@IntrusionCM however if you take the people I was describing, your analogy is pretty accurate. Group Polarization in a group of people who are dysfunctional and trying to combine their dysfunction and cruelty into some awful myopic world view with no room for hope or improvement because they are so ruined they don't want to see anything good or get better that doesn't have an increasingly more perverse stain on it or ridiculously twisted out of shape representation shaped to their tastes.

@IntrusionCM well like I said I despise raw capitalism, I hate also the consumption of resources for the sole reason of moving money which is the other problem right now.
  • 1
@IntrusionCM you know since the real baby boomer generation died, and these psychos ruined and or killed a large portion, i'm guessing, of the children that would have been born, we have more housing and resources than ever.

    more unused cars, storage, etc.

we could be carving rotting buildings away, redesigning cityscapes and sanitation and living well. noone starving, noone uneducated, noone unhappy.

the vast majority of people if you created a system where they didn't live somewhere that killed them that wasn't too intrusive and had places to get exercise and eat out and low energy using electronics, books, etc and a few nude reviews, and unfortunately, a couple escort agencies etc would be happy.

    thats the messed up part.

the attitude of not wanting to be burdened with large families is already there for normal people, they don't look at children as profit like these people do. said this before. they're not interested in being happy would appear.

    @AvatarOfKaine

That would require social programs and welfare.

    Which would require money.

Which you would have to take of those who succeeded and killed of their competition.

... I think you get at what I'm pointing out.

This doesn't apply solely to the US btw, but to every country.

Humanity could be living in an utopia if some were willing to compromise for the greater good.

But the word compromise is sth that a lot of people see as an endangerment to their ego, their success and to use the US phrase "their freedom".

After all it means giving up on sth.

@IntrusionCM the usa is the farthest from free right now.

so that's a joke that these people willfully propagate with zest, laughing evilly at their own slow destruction. being the 'smart' ones.

money is artificial. there are things that could be put in place and what it really comes down to is the impact of certain activities versus supply chain considerations and better organization of talent in this country.

presently, we have people who create crap to launder money. or crap that is designed to break.

people want food, drink, spirits, travel, comfort, and pleasure at the core. these things are very cheap when people don't willfully drive cars into the ground for literally no reason but to burn gas to move money around.

it could be done, not easily and would require nurture and looking after things, but again the cheapest things are the most satisfying. noone needs a golden toilet.

@IntrusionCM but yes it would require careful management of our economy. and humans tend to fuck that up.
