TYML17558yI was trying the same thing today, but can't get it to boot from USB. Reordered the boot and everything.

lxmcf199508y@varEnigmatic as painful as it may be, try a disc installation or a network installation

Anything with Gnome as the DE will work for touch screens (no other DE really incorporated touchscreen functionality). If you're looking for Debian based, why not Debian unstable?
-
How about arch + gnome setup? Although if you dont wanna setup arch urself, Antergos is awesome too 😁😄

lxmcf199508y@Electrux even more when it's the gnome edition, the cinnamon never really rubs me the right way

@BigMacca101 yep... Gnome is where its at... For me i stopped using debian based linux altogether... Hehe AUR + rolling release + bleeding edge is quite addicting 😍😍

Maybe try Korora (https://kororaproject.org) its based on Fedora. Its very user friendly and has cutting edge technology. It's not rolling release like arch but new realeases are coming every 6 months and every version is supported for 13 months. For me that is really good because I don't need to worry if next update breaking system (potentially could but less likely than with arch). It's kinda mix between stable and cutting edge.
I used before Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu Arch, Manjaro, Fedora and now I am using Korora with XFCE and I couldn't be more happy.
Because for me Korora have all the good side of Fedora and also have all not free software that I need for my development. -
@MajorRocki
I see you are a man of taste as well. I usually point newbies towards Korora or Antergos as well. They've always worked great for me

Looking to do another linux dual boot on my laptop, any recommendations to try out?
Trying to move away from Ubuntu but still would prefer something debian based and would play nicely with a touch screen!
