I am pretty sure when people say

"AI will be able to write code and create apps from scratch in the future"

have never actually sat in a client's requirements gathering call.

@ElectroArchiver I hate these answers so much

I worked 3 Years at McDonalds for some pocketmoney. Every Time

Me: Do you want Ketchup OR Mayo?

    Idiots: Yes

Me: There is only one included

    Idiots: No just Mayo

THEN SAY "MAYO" INSTEAD OF "YES" YOU f****** PIECE OF SH***

    Every customer

Gathering requirements can also be turned into a multistep process.

Which itself cam be reduced to a series of back-and-forth dialogues.

Which can be converted into training data.

Used to have a book called "perceptual building blocks" that was all about the entire process of thinking and creativity, but in concrete terms.

If anything, including a process, can be converted to training data, machine learning should be able to do it.

The management is of course replaced with AI first

Today, the possibilities of artificial intelligence are amazing, recently I found a channel in which there are recordings of music created by artificial intelligence. In the field of education, the possibilities of artificial intelligence can also help a lot. Many educational services like https://edusson.com/write-my-argume... use these features to create essays or write scientific articles based on materials from various experts. But whether new opportunities can replace programmers, I'm not sure. Artificial intelligence does not know how to improvise, and since the terms of reference are never fully written, it cannot replace communication between people.

Whenever someone is amazed by the idea of "you could just tell the ai you want a blue themed site that looks like most sites and it'll make it"

    I just think "umm..we've had themed no-code wp/shopify/tumble sites forever "

@jackpearce tells you exactly what mc Donald's food does to your brain after prolonged exposure

@hjk101 yes but I think it's because I had the Weekend nightshifts at the central station
    Means: every customer was drunk...

All the AI needs to be able to do is say: "No, let's not do that" for most of the duration of the call. Then the programmer can make a proper proposal for the requirements. Good cop, bad cop.
