    I was starting to feel burned out. I finally found a decent freeze dried acai source. I put that in smoothies and it has helped with the stress. I feel more awake and motivated at work again. I take a bunch of other decent quality vitamins, but I was still feeling like crap. The importance is getting a high quality source or you will be buying shit. My body now looks forward to my morning smoothies.

    Acai is a stimulant and contains caffeine, so this isn't unexpected.

    The best thing is: Vacation.

    Burnout is nothing else but your body telling you that you've reached the critical tolerance level of stress.

    Critical tolerance level as in: Either stop or systems will start failing.

    Note that vacation explicitly means that you should take the time off and give yourself rest. Vacation doesn't mean hackathon, sleepless nights and staying indoor 24 / 7 in front of the PC ;) :-P

    @IntrusionCM Acai berry doesn't have caffeine. Where did you hear this? Acai berry is filled with antioxidants which reduces oxidative stress in the body. Plus loads of other nutrients.

    @Demolishun

    Acai contains theobromine - an alkaloid which is nearly the same as caffeine regarding the chemical structure (I dunno how to formulate it properly in english, sorry).

    The anti oxidants in Acai exist, yes.
    But they were over hyped by marketing - up to the point of scamming people off, especially in the US.

    Might wanna read up on that...

    @IntrusionCM I read the research by Dr. Alexander Schauss. The guy who found the berry.

    Yes, I’m serious.

    There are people who will tell you that it doesn’t really matter but it does.
