    Check if there are drivers compatible with windows 10 at least... they just don't support "old" hardware....

    I like win10 and generally favour anyone adopting it... that's in part because win7 and 8 needs to die along with the rest...

    because then IE will finally be dead and burried!

    Also older operating systems will not get updated and thus be more vunerable..

    Also at the rate windows are open sourcing more and more i would not be surprized if windows is just another linux distro in a few more years....

    i mean fuck they are adding bash to it...

    From my experience, Windows 10 is like lottery... You will have to play to see what happens. Seriously. Some of our clients updated their computers to W10 and had a lot of trivial problems, like no start menu, no icons or tiles. On the other hand, some clientes who updated had no problems at all.

    Default privacy and security settings are pretty bad, but can be configured.
    Also includes virtual desktops and a release later this summer will have a native bash shell available. I went from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and really don't have too many complaints.
    Getting dual boot setup was a little trickier than previous, but since you're using Ubuntu, shouldn't be too bad.

    Everything bad you hear about windows 10 is all rumors or comments coming from windows haters. I have been using Windows 10 since 4 month and I can say it's the best windows right now out there.

    @Zerq
    They already released a linux distro for their Azure cloud servers.

    @Zerq ie won't be dead. It's still installed on win 10, it's just that they want you to use Edge

    85 % chance you'll wreck your boot sector.

    @jeeper I'll probably do a clean install of both windows and Linux so I guess I'll figure it out 😅
