When the new junior developer suggests we switch from ISO-8601 dates to Unix time in our API.

For providing dates etc with api calls, I'd use those iso standards as well but except for that, i always save everything as unix timestamp because i find it very easy to convert those to any format i want. If you're talking about the saved format, i agree with the junior! Otherwise, nahhh :P
