Microsoft seems to be struggling with basic human decency such as linking the original when closing an issue someone spent their time writing as duplicate:

But also why would someone go to this length to propose something like that. And then looking for duplicates for a while.. what a timewaste (imo) Cant be that difficult to find index.js or to execute it just by typing it. No need to actually find it.

@joewilliams007 You don't open an issue as a solution to the current instance of a problem. It's pretty much never cheaper than finding a workaround or maybe rejecting the ticket as impossible.
