Me: 9;
Interviewer: Get out of here.;

I still don't know why I got rejected in Microsoft interview.

    @lotd TIL that. Nice. Makes sense now.

    (edit)
    In fact, the whole "it's 10 now" thing stunk of apple marketing ploys, but now I know it's likely because of legacy code shortcuts, it feels microsoft again.

    @lotd but there is likely a windows 9 that can be made to work differently than all others

    For some reason microsoft counts using the octary system. 8 is the last number. Adding 1 to 8 results in 0 and a carry. This is why windows 8 goes directly to 10.

    @GlabbichRulz I wonder what would be the answer to that...

    Null? NaN? Division by zero? Black hole?

    @wesaka 2 part 1, 2 part 2, the lost portion of 2, the opposing side of 2, etc.

    @GlabbichRulz wonder if I would get kicked at a valve interview for answering soon (tm). :p

    @Ashkin

    Valve: "Hey Blizzard, can you make Overwatch? Then we'll make a successor to this DOTA mod thing. "

    Blizzard: "Fine... but why?"

    Valve: "We really want a Team Fortress successor, but we're out of numbers"
