With or without a purpose though, we are still humans so we are emotional. I think, with purpose, you can always go back somewhere and re-orient yourself. Whereas, with no meaning in anything, it's like you're floating, everywhere, all the time...

Anyway. Hedonism depending on the type does not flatten emotion it makes what pain is felt more obvious.

No I was talking more about lack of social impulse, lack of reason to interact, being surrounded by emotionally dead crazy people, lack of hope, lack of purpose also
