Well you vocab make viruses for Linux but since there are so many distro's around of which some have a higher level of security through stuff like SELinux, it's going to be a hell of a job to make them cross distro-working

There's a lot of complaining going on from the anti-linux crowd, but not a lot being done about it to show how insecure the OS is. If you really want Linux to go away that badly, build a Linux Ransomware and release it to the wild.
