As much as I understand this, let's be honest, who are the guys who've experienced almost every shit a computer can throw at one? Exactly. So it's not that far out there to ask a dev.

@Godisalie While that's true, and I did fix it in the end, it's not the point. If I've got air-headded colleagues pulling me away from the things I'm actually paid to do before even trying to fix it themselves first, I end up wasting my company's time and my client's money. If you work with computers for 40 hours a week, you should at least have some basic troubleshooting skills.
