For starters this is my first post, found devrant the other day you're all hilarious.

I hate math, I hate proofs. I'm in a class "Analysis of Algorithms" and I have understood and do understand the importance of optimizing algorithms and data structures and I understand the algorithms and data structures themselves. That being said, I'm fucking sick of math and proofs and all this bullshit that is probably pretty important but ugggghh, I guess I just have to push through, but writing this out helped.

    Welcome to DevRant! Great rant...after so long you just get burned out on crap you don't care about.

    Some here are great with things I can do and hate and hope I never see again. They love it.

    Welcome! Currently in the same class. I have to deliver the implementation of a RB Tree and a AVL Tree with a Swing interface next week (plus a group work in C), and also study for 3 exams. FML, right?

    @Snatchedd totally agree, I really like math & physics and those help a lot when it comes to rational thinking (also with physics you can create sick stuff)

    @Snatchedd @lautataropaske I wish I was better at math, Blender & Unity

    @anyhus it's all about practice (and interest)

    @anyhus well I approached programming and software development by being a non-CS engineer, I guess that the approach you have with math depends on your background rather than programming skill.

    @anyhus Blender is super freaking hard to learn, because the interface is a pile of commonly used things mixed with things never used :D Good luck!

    @Tored a hell of a curve
